Pear, yum

Hey everyone. Hope you're all doing well. We're good and looking forward to the holidays. We're done shopping and wrapping and ready for the loooooong weekend to start.

Chris got full time! This means we'll be getting our car soon! We absolutely cannot wait. As much as we love not having to pay for car insurance and gas, it's nice to have a car so you can just get up and go (and not have to worry about how you're gonna get there.)

This week is dragging like crazy. I'm celebrating right now, I made myself a pear martini with the new martini glasses I got from my secret santa. It's delicious. I'm also using the vodka Liana got me. It's called Pravda (it's from Poland) and it's so smooth.

I got a lot of cute stuff from my kiddies: candy, an adorable mug, lotions, candles, ornaments. All that cute little stuff us teachers get.

Anyone down for staying local on New Year's? We're doing dinner in town and then going to a bar in the next town. New Year's is too hyped up anyway.

Speaking of celebrations, we're already getting my birthday planning started. Chris is sending the evite out soon and it's gonna be a blast. I think I'm going to make a few wishlists and leave them open for Chris to see :) hehe
