Pork Baby

Happy belated Turkey Day to everyone. We had a lovely Thanksgiving. We went to Chris' mom's house with the family and ate to our little hearts' content. It entailed Chris and his uncle comparing gizzards (bellies), making fake Portuguese soccer champs (custard cups to "Here We Go"), and Chris' mom dressing up a loin of pork like a baby (pictures on our Flickr). Fun times.

We got home around ten thirty-ish and went to bed. Got up at 12:30 (Chris), I slept til 1:30 to go to D & D and head up to Willowbrook. We passed Best Buy on the way and their were people camping out in tents and a lot of cops. Liana's sister went Thanksgiving night at 7 pm and she said there was already a line around the building and she was in the middle of it.

We got to Willowbrook around 2:30 and sat in the parking lot listening to music and drinking tea. Sears opened at 4 so we walked around there. They had some good stuff, but we didn't buy anything. They opened the gates to the mall around 4:30 am and we stood in line between a mother and daughter who were really nice. Finally they opened FYE (we saw their black Friday ad online advertising the Wii) and we ran inside to get it. I had to yell at some guy who tried to cut everyone off. Jerkoff. So we got our Wii, Guitar Hero, and a regular controller. It's seriously so much fun. I'm terrible at Guitar Hero, but I can kick ass in bowling.

We were supposed to go down and get it at Kmart Thanksgiving morning, but we were still drunk at that time so that wasn't happening. Thanksgiving Eve was fun. Me, Chris, and Tom (also met up with Yak, Dreia, and Matt) went to Donegal's, the Irish, and the Scots Club. All were pretty dead, however, I still somehow managed to run into dirtbags. Go figure. It's all good though, seeing shitty people only boosts my confidence.
