Weekend Recap

My bachelorette party ruled! Everyone met up at Monica's for snacks and drinks and then the limo picked us up. I must say, there was an ungodly amount of liquor that everyone brought. We partied in the limo and headed to the Beauty Bar. If you've never been there, it's an old beauty salon that they converted into a bar. The seats have those dryer caps above them and they have a back room for dancing. My ladies treated me to a manicure (they have a manicure and drink special). We all danced our tails off in the back. Then there was this really annoying girl who kinda looked out of place and was shaking it Shakira style to every song. So being the obnoxious person that I am, I took off one of my "Bachelorette" sashes, proceeded to dance around with it like a fool, mimicking her. Don't know if she got the gist of it, I could care less cuz I was 3 sheets to the wind at that time. We got ready to leave, but the limo driver was un-contactable. It stunk, but we made the most of it. I got a text from Chris who was at Mona's saying "Tim Kasher is at Mona's", so we all walked around the corner to meet up with the guys, where sure enough, there was Tim Kasher. We talked to him and the lady he was with. He definitely remembered us from the night before, how could he not?! Then the limo finally got us and we all partied on our way back to NJ.

For the bachelor party, the guys went to dinner at a place in Kearny and drank a lot of sangria. Then they hit up the Scots Club and then took a cab to DC's in Hoboken. After that, they went to Louis and Jerry's and then to Mona's in NY where we met them. I'll let Chris elaborate on it later if he'd like, but that's the summary of what they did.

Last night we gave the people at the reception site our final count. We also booked a sweet room for after the wedding with a jacuzzi. We have friends/family staying at our place, so it only makes sense to get a room. Today I'm getting my dress with Chris' mom, going to the florist, and then the bakery. Then we're having dinner at his mom's. I can't believe it's almost here!!!!!
