Yup

I swear that I was born blond. I feel like such an idiot. So I'm cooking dinner and my smoke alarm keeps going off, loud as hell. So I ask the lady upstairs if she knows how to shut it off and she didn't. So her and I are opening the windows (it was barely smoky) and pressing buttons on the smoke alarm and it wouldn't stop. So I tried calling the landlord who wasn't home and I decided to call the fire department. A cop car, fire inspector car, and 2 firetrucks later the problem is solved. My landlord also came being he's a firefighter in town and he heard the address. So needless to say, I feel like the biggest idiot EVER. Now the stupid alarm keeps chirping. Ugh.
