We're back

What a crazy weekend!

We moved on Saturday. Overall it went well. The only bad thing was that Chris accidentally ripped the bumped of a car off with the U-Haul. Luckily, he took the extra insurance on it. Chris' mom, grandma, and little sister helped us and so did Tom. You don't know how much we appreciate them. It's amazing just how much bigger and nicer this apartment is. We like the neighborhood a lot better, a lot less ghetto. We have like 90 % of our stuff here, the rest will be out by Saturday at the absolute latest.

At night, we headed to Hoboken with Tom to meet up with some of his friends. The bar we went to was ok, sorta different from our favorites in Hoboken. After that, we headed to DC's which we love. After a few beers we took a cab home to avoid the long wait of the Path train.

Sunday was the diner, more unpacking, and browsing the Clifton Commons area for apt. stuff. Once we get our deposit back we're going to get a sectional for our living room. I'm sure we'll have a housewarming party fairly soon. Then a washer/dryer after that. Save save save.

I totally forgot the best part! So Chris and I are walking to our new apt. Saturday night after getting dropped off from the cab. So I walk up the stairs into the hallway and there's a cat in the hall. I tell Chris, "There's a cat in here." He tells me "Take it in." I proceed to tell him, "We can't borrow the neighbor's cat." It was seriously the funniest thing ever.
