Surprise!

So yesterday I didn't go to the soccer game. We pulled up to Chris' mom's house to "pick up our chairs for the tailgating." So we pull up and I see people in Chris' mom's yard. I think to myself, "hmm, that's weird, I thought Chris said she was going out." So I look again, see his grandma, then my aunt, and then Lisa. Then it finally hits me. Chris says, "I guess you're not going to the soccer game. It's your shower!" While getting ready yesterday I had a tiny thought that it might be today, but then I dispelled that quickly. So to say the least, him and Monica got me. They really did surprise me. Good job guys :)

So it was set up in Chris' mom's yard. Decorations and balloons everywhere! They ordered food from my favorite place and his mom made mojitos (YUM!) There were a lot of people there and we got so many gifts! Target messed up a little and didn't update the registry so I got doubles, even triples of some gifts. It's all good though being we love Target and don't mind having to return stuff so we can go shopping again. Chris' mom got us a really cool gift...postage stamps with our faces on it. So damn cute!

I seriously have the best family and friends ever. It's really all starting to sink in that we're getting married. The favors are soooooo cute too. Here's what they look like:



Monica just happened to have that picture of us from when we baked cookies at her house. There are a bunch of recipes inside.

At night, we met up with Chris, who was still pretty wrecked from the Red Bull's game, and went to O'Neil's where we ran into some familiar faces. Fun times ensued.
