Hello lovlies
Such a lovely weekend. Here's how it went.
Friday: Dana came over and we went to the Scots Club. Met up with Kelly and Jay there, as well as Tom and his crew. By the end of the night, it was our whole crew that took over the bar.
Saturday: We headed down to Philly with Danielle. Went to the Art Star Craft Bazaar that Lisa and Rich were volunteering at. It was a lot of fun. A bunch of handmade items that were adorable. We did a little shopping there too. Got some cute bird/owl coasters, marble magnets for our fridge, a retro looking bird picture in a frame, and Chris got a sweet shirt with a picture of a Geisha wearing boxing gloves. It was a great experience that makes me want to get off my butt and craft. I can make some pretty mean marble magnets and can make hot chocolate spoons like no other! Then we went to a bar/restaurant called Deuce where we had appetizers and $3 mojitos. I had a cucumber one, Chris had watermelon, and Danielle had plain. They were so good, the perfect summer drink. The section in Philly that we were in was so nice. If I didn't love my job we'd pick up and move there.
Headed back to NJ to the Scot's Club where we met up with Justin. Hit up the LCCC where Lindsay wasn't bartending and it was D-E-A-D. Then to Reilly's and it was filled with hillbillies. I've never seen a crowd like that before. Someone had a boxcutter on the bar. Scary. Then we struck gold at O'Neil's where it was a sensory overload of people we know. I especially liked the fact that 3 Catch 22 songs were played on the jukebox. It turned into a fun night despite our previous failed attempts at local bars.
Pictures are up on our flickr.
